Over the years, more than 100 students have passed DNB (qualification given by NBE, New Delhi) in various specialities from this hospital. Most of our students have passed at the first attempt in the DNB examination.
As part of the training programme, resident doctors are also posted to our Rural Hospital at Vadu. Our 30 bedded Rural Hospital at Vadu, provides healthcare services, conducts Community Health Programmes for the surrounding villages, trains health workers, and conducts research programmes. The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India has recognized this as one of the core centres for vaccine studies in this country.
The institution has a well-equipped Library with Reading Rooms and a Seminar Room. The Seminar Room has been equipped to receive medical education teaching programmes through the National Satellite Broadcast. It also has a well-equipped computer laboratory with internet facility.
